Overview

The Haute École de Santé - Vaud (HESAV) is a higher education institution in the field of health sciences and a member of the HES-SO (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland). It is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, in the hospital district surrounding the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). HESAV is the main higher education institution for health professions in the canton of Vaud. It trains future health professionals, provides postgraduate and continuing education, and conducts applied research in health sciences.

Nursing

Full-time, part-time, or in-employment tracks (180 ECTS)

Physiotherapy

3-year full-time programme (6 semesters, 180 ECTS)

Medical Radiology Technology

3-year full-time programme (6 semesters, 180 ECTS)

Midwifery

Full-time or part-time tracks, 2nd-cycle program (120 ECTS) for qualified nurses

Occupational Therapy

3-year full-time programme (6 semesters, 180 ECTS)

Preparatory Year

HESAV offers a Preparatory Year for students wishing to enter a health-care Bachelor program.
